Acrobat 7.0 support information
What is Acrobat 7.0?Acrobat 7.0 was an upgrade to Adobe's Acrobat software. There are more details on Adobe's site. You will also find extensive independent coverage on the PlanetPDF site. Quite Software has worked extensively with Adobe to make sure that our products are compatible. Will Quite plug-ins work with Acrobat 7.0?On the Macintosh, because of changes made by Adobe, no existing plug-ins (from any plug-in maker) work with Acrobat 7.0 (why?). Updated plug-ins will be needed. All our plug-ins have now been updated (as of July 2005), and updates are either free, or can be purchased, depending on the product. On Windows, Adobe did not make these changes, and existing plug-ins will load. However, we recommend updating to new versions when available (see Known Issues, below). What updates to Quite plug-ins are planned?Quite A Box Of TricksWe have now released (31 January 2005) Quite A Box Of Tricks 1.7 for Windows and Macintosh.
